We are going to have an incredible year and I am very excited. Here is your first assignment.
1. Please email me at randallfhhs@yahoo.com
In the email, include your full name, the period you are in AP World and a little note if you would like.
2. Bring in a photo of you from your summer travels. If you don't have one, it's ok.
3. Read "The Worst Mistake in the History of the Human Race," by Jared Diamond.
Answer the following questions and bring in for collection on Monday. (Typed)
1. According to Diamond, what is "the worst mistake"?
2. How did this so-called mistake affect humanity and the world?
3. This is one argument. Do you agree or disagree with Diamond's thesis? Explain why you think so.
4. Study your geography. Geography quiz: Friday, Sept 17
On the right side bar, play the geography games and see what level you can reach. I can get to 12. See if you can beat me and prepare yourself for your first quiz.

is the test going to be on the whole world, or certain continents?
ReplyDeleteThe world. I will give you a region and you will have to name 5 countries. For example: North Africa, Southern Africa, East Africa, West Africa, Latin America, Europe, Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Europe, etc.
